aesthetic change for “ragdoll childhood”

i’m baack! here’s an update on my indie show, “ragdoll childhood”

so i once said i wanted my show to feel like a you’re watching a nostalgic pbs show from 2013 or from the obama presidency as some might call it, but i think i found a better style or a sub-genre of the “obama presidency” style to define my vids. i’ve been seeing this “millenial optimism” trend on tiktok recently, and i got some images on pinterest of what people put in these aesthetic videos down below. i would say it mostly goes under the 2010s aesthetic umbrella. they add things like the dumb ways to die app icon, some yetis, screenshots of sarah and duck, even toca boca! when looking at these posts, i’d describe it as growing up in the pacific northwest during the 2010s, and while that sounds very specific for a lot of people, i think it fits with me a lot as someone living in seattle. besides, i used to love playing toca boca games when i was younger too ;) the way i would use that aesthetic for my episodes would have a light “nashville” filter some colors that are colorful but not overstimulating or too bright. kinda like how these images look

next, regarding the setting of the show, i already know where it’ll take place. my house and my front and backyard. but regarding time and mood, it would take place in 2013, and the mood would be calm, with cozy and catchy background music i made myself ^^

and finally, let’s talk more on when i’ll be ready to start this off. i said that i would start this show by somewhere in the fall, and since fall just officially started, i’ll be more specific. judging by how long i’ve been busy setting this all up, i think i’ll be ready by mid to late october

that’s all i have to say for now. and if i don’t feel like there’s any updates about the show, i’ll at least just check in more frequently. don’t mind if i don’t post something in a while.
